Container-based, encrypted drive for files and programs
On the computer stored files can arrive on various way into the wrong hands. Only the encryption of the data can prevent this. The abylon CRYPTDRIVE offers a simple procedure to create encrypted drives, the so-called container. By the using of the encryption algorithm Blowfish (448 bits) or AES (256 bits) the files and programs are secure for unauthorized access. The access over the File Explorer is only possible, if the encrypted drive is mounted. The encryption and decryption of files works automatically and in the background. As secret to open the CRYPTDRIVE you can enter a password over the keyboard or alternatively you use a Smartcard, CD or a USB-Stick. In the company environment also the access authorizations can be administered over certificates. Numerous certificate Smartcards or USB-Token are supported. |
